Life, She NAILED IT alright!!!!!!

Tina was recently interviewed about her extraordinary life and uplifting, inspirational book by the wonderful Angela Marie Franco and I am just thrilled to share it with you all. She has accomplished so much in fact she is being honoured as one of the Top Women in Business and Networking Award Winners in Brooklyn for 2015. Tina's story is one of determination and drive that shows that the willingness to go for your dreams propels you to heights you never thought you'd reach! I am so very proud of my friend and her wonderful story!! I hope it inspires you as much as it does me.

Waxing tips needed

Hello dear readers,
We have been receiving requests for a waxing “how to” post here at The World and we are looking for anyone who has the knowledge and ability to write a waxing post for The World of Nails. I would like it if you could make a You Tube video along with written instruction but I will take whatever I can get to be honest. If at all possible if you could go into more than one area of interest, i.e., arms, legs, upper lip and eyebrows etc….it would be greatly appreciated. I do wax my own eyebrows but have never been trained on the how to’s of any proper methodology. So I wouldn’t feel right about giving instruction on something I have no training in whatsoever, just in case anything I do isn’t proper. I just watched when it was being done at the salon, paid attention and figured I could it myself, which I did and began doing it myself. I would appreciate it very much as I would rather this come organically versus pillaging You Tube myself looking for a video on all over waxing.

Here we are going to talk about the tricks of getting a perfect manicure at home.First of all, you need to take care of your hands and nails health. The healthier your skin will be, the better your manicure will appear to be. So, always moisturize your hands and go for hand and nail creams to do so as they help strengthening the nails as well. I am SO very excited. The new nail art brushes I ordered came in the mail today and I cannot wait to use them. The photo below is the set I ordered and I will tell you what, this is just like me with makeup brushes, I’ve no idea what any of them are for. So, I will put the question to all my nail artist friends who know what they are doing. So ladies please let me know just what these do and how to use them. I am so excited to use them but yet again I am clueless, so please help me.

The polish I used to create this amazing nail design is Pure Ice’s “Oui Oui” for the base layer. The blobs of colour are Salon Perfect’s “Summer Escape” (yellow) and “Traffic Cone” (orange). The dots and streaks are black, silver and neon purple striping paint and the top coat is “Out the Door.”

CND Paradise Collection Polish Review

It is with great pleasure I present my newest nail art design. I used the awesome Sultry Sunset and Tango Passion for the base of this two toned design. The nail art we added was just some streaks of white, silver and a touch of Cerulean Sea polish to top off the look.

Tip Top nail polish visits the jungle

Here is my new long awaited nail art design with three of the fabulous colours that Tip Top Nail Polish sent to me along with their top coat and Dadi’ Oil to finish off the look. This sexy  visit to the jungle look is based with a beautiful almost chrome-like sliver and tipped with the dark and light blue gradient with black tiger stripes added to finish off this very sophisticated yet striking look.

Tiger Nail Art Stickers from Joby



Just got a new design done. This time I used China Glaze 18 K Gold as the base polish and then we used Hot Tamale and Orange Pure Ice polish with a bright yellow in the middle to complete the gradient effect along with “TIGER” Joby Nail Art Stickers to complete the look.
